Howard Whyte joined Microsoft in April 2024, bringing over 20 years of leadership experience in cybersecurity across the federal government, military, and private sector. Previously, he served as CISO at Truist Financial Corporation and Boeing, overseeing global security programs and IT risk. He also held leadership roles at FDIC, Goldman Sachs, NASA, and the U.S. Army. Mr. Whyte holds a Bachelor’s in Management Studies and an MBA and enjoys motorsports, traveling, and spending time with family.
