Associate Architect/Architect – Cloud Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

•  Design and implement secure and scalable cloud architectures and services across multiple platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.).
• Solid understanding of Infra Automation, Infra as a Code, Configuration Management, and Modern Deployment methods.
• Leverage Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and tools such as Chef, Puppet, Bamboo, Ansible, Azure DevOps, Git, and GitActions for efficient deployment and management.
• Develop and manage Docker, Kubernetes, AKS.
• Collaborate closely with security teams to oversee the overall cloud security posture, assess risks, and make recommendations to mitigate security gaps.
• Offer technical expertise on product development around application delivery and security across hybrid cloud.
• Lead service improvements, automation, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of reusable components/accelerators.
• Understand customer cloud requirements and communicate technical solutions to customers, SMEs, and developers effectively.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals for technical solutions in response to RFPs, leveraging your pre-sales experience.
• Stay up to date with fast-changing technology trends and disruptive technologies in the market, ensuring our cloud solutions remain cutting edge.

Key Skills Requirements:

• Certified AWS Solutions Architect or similar AWS and Certified Solution Architect in Azure is preferred.
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft technologies, with a focus on Azure Cloud and ability to design multi-cloud and technology-neutral solutions.
• Strong understanding of Security controls and related regulations like GDPR, etc.
• Experience in Azure Infra, Networks, Storage, Apps, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Azure Resource Manager, Resource Groups, Virtual Networks, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Blob Storage, PowerShell DSC, Azure Automation, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Site Recovery.
• Hands-on experience in developing POCs and pilots.
• Experience with Containerized ecosystem such as Docker, Kubernetes, and other Serverless applications.
• Strong knowledge in scripting & automation: any scripting language (PowerShell, Python).
• Good exposure to automation using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub CI/CD.
• Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable AWS cloud environments, ensuring they align with the company’s business objectives and security guidelines.
• Architect and develop AWS infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar technologies for efficient and repeatable deployment of applications.
• Provide expertise on the deployment and management of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, and more.
• Optimize AWS cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance, implementing best practices around AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Develop and implement robust disaster recovery strategies and high availability solutions on AWS to ensure business continuity.
• Use AWS security services such as IAM, Cognito, KMS, and Security Groups to ensure the cloud environment is secure and complies with regulatory standards.
• Work closely with the development team to integrate DevOps practices into AWS environments using tools like AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodeStar.
• Leverage AWS monitoring and analytics tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and X-Ray for operational insight and troubleshooting.

Experience required:

• 15+ work experience in IT industry
• 5+ years relevant experience in managing Multi Cloud architecture/Migration/Adoption or deployment.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's in computer application / computer science, B. Tech. (IT), MCA, MTech in Computer Science
• Appropriate Certification in Azure / AWS / GWS technology stack.
